Fahim Gulamali received his B.A. (2014) in Religious Studies from Wake Forest University, with minors in Anthropology and Spanish. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of Social Justice Education and Programming for the Pro Humanitate Institute. This oral history interview includes Gulamali's experiences as a Muslim student and staff member at Wake Forest University, including his experiences being the only Muslim student in a class and having to provide insights that are not exactly common knowledge or experience for other Muslims. Gulamali provides a few criticisms of the University Administration with suggestions on how to address them, one of which is to bring more Muslim professors to campus and respond to negative experiences in a more transparent manner.
