Sermon given at a Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. Dr. Criswell, pastor of First Baptist Church in Dallas speaks on the power of God and of preaching. He recounts different preachers and their unique skills, such as Dr. George Truett and Robert G. Lee, inspersing humorous anecdotes. Preachers must depend upon the Holy Spirit for their power. Churches should reproduce themselves, in new churches and new leadership among young people. II Timothy 4:5 is reference as a command to a pastor to "do the work of an evangelist."
