Drakeford, author and Counseling seminary professor reads from the book of Jeremiah. He utilizes the metaphor of a blacksmith's work with metal, hammer, and fire to describe a minister's work in persuading individuals to give their lives to Christ and how the power of God's word bears upon and changes individuals' lives. Towards the end of the sermon, Drakeford references II Corinthians and the fictitious character of Captain Ahab from Herman Melville's novel Moby Dick. He closes his sermon with prayer. Audio becomes faint at the 13:43 mark for about 24 seconds.
