description
A man discusses instruction of doctrine and active waiting in the seminary. He emphasizes that learning to be a preacher should be a dynamic process. The Church is condemned for acting "holier than thou" and members are encouraged to be welcoming, understanding, and promote the word of God. He then describes examples of mannerisms that promote conversion and ones that turn potential converts away.
This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
