description
Sermon given by a man regarding the necessity for repentance as seen in the book of Jeremiah. Repentance is needed, otherwise one will face the consequence of perishing. Repentance is defined as turning away from sin and obeying the prophets, the Gospel, and the commandments in order to be judged favorably. Repentance and judgement go hand in hand, as repenting to be judged well in the eyes of God should be a Baptist's goal.
This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
