- description
- Sermon regarding the death of Jesus, referencing prophecy from Isaiah and New Testament Gospels. Pontius Pilate condemned Jesus, but did not kill Him alone. Historical account alone does not provide theological source. God designed the Crucifixion, referencing Genesis 3:15. Sacrifice for sin and redemption are recurring themes in Scripture. The sin of all humans killed Jesus who is the provider of redemption.
