Sermon given by Samford University professor regarding the William Golding book, Lord of the Flies. Begins with a brief synopsis of the novel. Tells the story of a recent deadly crowd riot at a Peru v. Argentina soccer match. Nazism is referenced as an example of human evil. President Kennedy's assisination is an American tragedy. The essence of evil lives in the human heart. Mark 3:22 identifies Beelzebub, addresses the problem of evil and answers the heresy of the day that sin can be vanquished without a fight but it is not an internal civil war.
