description
Sermon given by a man regarding the church as an ongoing outreach for redemption, referencing passages from Ephesians. We need to see the church as a ministry in a non-Christian world. States Jesus did not invite men to be supporters of religious institutions but rather to join a mission for the redemption of the world as whole. A Christian who withholds himself from service does not actually fulfill the wishes of Jesus Christ.
This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
