- description
- Chafin states that the church needs to think about and develop innovative ways of doing the task of evangelism. Tradition and mindset can trap us, but the spirit of God works in us to innovate. He suggest 4 areas that need work: communicate gospel to students of all ages in today's world; communicate gospel to outsiders (i.e. individuals who do not already have a connection with the church); witnessing and preaching the gospel to the poor; more creative use of mass media (e.g. print, TV, radio) in communicating the gospel.
- This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
