description
Report to Convention of committee findings and recommendations concerning investigation of seven state Baptist colleges and their ability to represent the goals of convention reflecting concerns of encroaching secularism. A Guiding Pattern of actions necessary to produce results of a "distinctively Christian contribution" includes emphasis on required Bible classes and chapel service attendance and screening of faculty and students as to Baptist connections.
This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
