description
Sermon given by a man starts by using animals as a metaphor in the forest to discuss obedience. Luck, as opposed to faith, is discouraged by the preacher. One's relationship with God is active and must be worked for, not just yearned for. He discusses the book of Joshua, chapter 7, and the promised land that was actively sought after. He emphasizes sacrifice as a necessary part of all Christians lives. Sermon title provided by archives staff.
This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
