- description
- The recording begins, possibly mid-sentence, with a man naming men and their locations who had formed a committee on committees, which met to suggest changes to the Baptist Convention of North Carolina. Then Charles Coffey also lists people to be added to the committee. The recording cuts out and then a man, likely Coffey, gives a history of Baptists prioritizing the New Testament of the Bible. An emphasis is placed on Scripture and especially Jesus's ministry in scripture as a basis for the inspiration of the Baptist Convention of North Carolina. Title supplied by archives staff.
- This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
