Message first by Edwin Tuller, director of the American Baptist Convention on the relationship between the American Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. He addresses a conflict of interest in North Dakota mission. Conflict arises with printed criticism and when one starts a church in close proximity to one by the other, confusing the public. Dialogue is encouraged for a healthy relationship as on shared mission. He gives the history of the American Baptist Convention, particularly as a member of the National Council of Churches. Executive Secretary Porter Routh then speaks on nature historically of American Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention as cooperative but separate.
