Heartbreak is described as a stealing of joy, inwardly or outwardly, that can be cathartically restored through God's love. Sources of heartbreak, such as loss, loneliness, rejection, and failure, are explained. A conversation between Dr. Baxter and Alexander White is described. Referenced Biblical texts include the First Epistle of Peter, Job, Second Corinthians.
