Forum discussion between several people regarding whether dance is appropriate and if it should have a place in society. First speaker discusses how dances pervade many aspects of life and social activities; the man describes dances as a form of expression that is sinful and degrades Christian morality and ethics. He believes that it has no place on campus and must be regulated. Ms. Johnson then speaks, arguing that dancing is a generally accepted social activity, comparing it to other forms of recreation activity. A ministerial student who is student body president from Wake Forest also contributes on behalf of the other students. He expresses that the vast majority of students believe that dancing should be permitted and held under supervision. Additional speakers continue to voice their opinions on the matter of dance in a social setting.
