Various male speakers are speaking and a vote called but, before a decision is made, H. L. Ferguson asks to speak. Ferguson discusses anecdotes and the matter of baptism and what makes people Baptists. He also discusses the role of associate members of the church and the value and meaning of church membership and votes in favor of the amendment. Contention surrounding the vote but the amendment is approved. Referenced Biblical texts include the book of Matthew. The recording begins with 10 seconds of static and feedback and at points it is difficult to hear all the speakers.
