A man discusses the convention's purpose, using a modern parable to demonstrate that all people are servants, none better than another. He describes the leaders present at the convention who represent their respective churches and areas, but also describes their need to be faithful servants to God. The Book of Reports is dicsussed, including a revised organization of board activities. James Cunningham reports for the American Bible Society, describing the magazine and needs. Convention financial report is given. A joint meeting of the the Baptist Convention and the General Baptist Convention is planned. Land purchases and expansion is described. The Fruitland Bible Insititute classroom building fire and rebuilding is considered.
