description
Convention staff are acknowledged. Dr. Crouch, in his farewell address, rehearses basic Baptist history and defines Baptist beliefs, including church autonomy, baptism by immersion, individual accountability and separation of church and state. This includes obedience to the Great Commission, including early missions and establishing Baptist Schools for training. Churches need to rise to the challenges of the needy world in which they exist. A Bold MIssions proposed thrust is introduced and a commitment to world missions is encouraged.
This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
