A man leads the convention in convention business including achievement recognition. Speeches are delivered about the retirees and their accomplishments in detail, notably that of Dr. Edward Lowell Spivey. A speaker encourages witnessing.Students from Baptist Student Union in non Baptist schools speak about their outreach. Later the budget is discussed as well as ministry for recruiting new leaders in the Baptist faith, starting in the home and being furthered at services.
