A Wake Forest College alumnus discusses Baptists in terms of politics and medicine. He describes the North Carolina Baptist Hospital and a large donation of money to transform it into Wake Forest College's medical school. He details the successes and accomplishments of the hospital and its Baptist influence. A report is given by the Historical Committee which in 1959 proposed an intensive collection of Baptist History documentation. This has been ongoing since. Several local church histories are commended as well as Mr. Huggins' history of the convention. 2,004 square feet has been set aside for the collection. The Historical Committee recommended money to hire two people, paying half of the cost shared with Wake Forest Collection. Director John Woodward welcomes all to visit.
