- description
- A man delivers a sermon from Mark 2 regarding Jesus healing a paralyzed man who is lowered into a room where He is preaching. The courage of the friends and their unconventional approach was honored as faith. He references the home owners' reactions to potential damage to their home. Comparison is made to the generation gap and the gap over social issues in the church. Theologians should think creatively about application of Jesus' teachings to current issues. Mostl importantly, problems need to be seen through the eyes of Jesus. Service concludes with a choral hymn and prayer.
- This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
