- description
- The Convention recognizes and announces new pastors in North Carolina. Each new pastor introduces himself and states where he is serving. Then, North Carolina's Baptist Student Union presents a report and recommendations regarding juvenile correctional facilities in the state, encouraging increased support from Baptists for juvenile delinquents in these institutions. This report and these recommendations are moved to various committees to decide on a course of action, specifically in terms of finances and potential programs to run.
- This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
