- description
- Recording starts with about 30 seconds of silence before convention business is continued. A man discusses the progress specifically strengthening of Convention staff, career missionaries, and student work. Donation and expense budgets and audits are detailed by a second man, who describes the process of accounting and deductions, followed by questions about it. Missions offering goals are outlined and Fruitland Baptist College building needs are reported. Requests from the General Baptist State Convention, including pastoral annuities, is recommended for action. A Council on Christian Life and Public Affairs is discussed. There is a brief gap in sound at minute 37. Gardner Webb College requests being allowed to go to four year status.
