A man prays to open the morning session, blessing the deliberations and processes of the morning session. He acknowledges the hard work ahead of the Convention's members. "Rejoice, Lord is King" is sung by an all male choir. A man then discusses the Baptist message of stewardship through several anecdotes about media coverage of Baptists.
