description
A man directs the discussion of the General Board Report. He recognizes the accomplishments and hard work of the General Board and the Executive Committee. He discusses the need for strong individual leadership due to the lack of a single leader overseeing all of the Baptist churches, like the Pope for the Catholic Church. He commends the lack of hierarchy, describing all Baptists as servants of the Convention and Jesus. He then reads the General Board Report articles, detailing the various things accomplished by the Baptist Convention of NC. Title supplied by archives staff.
This project was supported by a Recordings at Risk grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
