- These documents contain data used to model variation in Nazca booby reproductive parameters by age, environment, and their interaction (Tompkins & Anderson in press, Ecology 2021). The data are organized in Excel workbooks by response variable (Breeding Probability, Breeding Date, A-egg Volume, Clutch Size, Fledging Success) and by analysis stage (tabs within each Excel document). Analyses using these datasets are described in the manuscript text, and include: “Additive effects of female age and environment”, labelled “Age + E” in Excel workbooks. “Selective disappearance”, labelled “Selective Disappearance.” “Male age and identity effects on egg-laying traits and fledging success”, labelled “Male Age, ID.” “Interactive effects of female age and environment on Breeding Probability, egg-laying traits, and Fledging Success: age span 3–12”, labelled “Yng Age x E.” “Interactive effects of female age and environment on Breeding Probability, egg-laying traits, and Fledging Success: age span 11–20”, labelled “Old Age x E.” Data descriptions and variable definitions are included within each file. Data collection was supported primarily by the National Science Foundation under Grant Nos. DEB 93045679, DEB 9629539, DEB 98-06606, DEB 0235818, DEB 0842199, and DEB 1354473 to David J. Anderson.
