- description
- Black and white photograph shows two Black women, Dorothy Smith and Virginia Smith, standing beside Black man, Pleasl Smith. They are the children of Tommy Smith. The group is looking at the camera and smiling or laughing. The woman at left is wearing a short-sleeved short swirl-patterned dress, a white headband, and round eyeglasses. The brother is wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, dark pants, and a fedora-style hat. The woman at right is wearing a white short-sleeved dress, a silver watch and large silver earrings, and round glasses. She has a hand over her mouth, possibly hiding a laugh. Behind them is a brick house and porch with white metallic pillars and flower pots on the floor. The back of the image reads, possibly "Dorthy Virginia, Please, Smith" and "Aug 31, 69" in blue cursive.
