- description
- Black and white photograph on metal plate shows a portrait of a family of four, all looking at the camera. A Black man, a son of Fiddler Jack Hughes, is wearing a suit with a bowtie and sitting to the right of a Black woman, who has her hair tied up or pulled back and is wearing a blazer with black lapels, a button-up, and a broach with a bow around it. The woman is holding the younger child, who is wearing a long light-colored dress. The other child, toddler-aged, is resting an arm on the man and wearing a hat and a long button-down dress with what appears to be lace detailing. The plate's corners are cut and it is worn from age. The faces of the children and woman appear blurry.
