- description
- Black and white photograph shows two men, one of whom is Benjamin Moore, standing next to each other in front of a building. The men are wearing dark suits with dark brimmed hats. The man at left has his arms straight with his sleeves pushed up, revealing his wrists. He is wearing a light button-up that is tucked into his high-waisted slacks. The man at right is standing with his feet planted unevenly, holding his suit coat together with one hand, wearing a dark button-up underneath. The building behind them has vertical wood slabbed walls, a stone foundation, and a window frame. The image, yellowed from age and creased, is mounted on a green material with white borders. A red ink stamp centered under the image reads "H. W. Hicks" in a detailed ribbon with "Pocahontas, VA." underneath. The back has illegible handwritten cursive.
