Black and white photograph shows three people standing next to each other in what appears to be a living room, looking at the camera. Annie Hughes is standing between her nephew William Anderson at left and an older man at right. William is standing slightly behind Annie with his hands hidden. He is wearing long, loose-fitting white pants and a matching short-sleeved shirt with breast pockets and black buttons. Annie is wearing a dark, knee-high, long-sleeved dress with what appears to be a white berry pattern and a white neck piece. She is holding her arms straight and hands clenched, with what appears to be a handkerchief in one hand. The man at right is wearing eyeglasses and a white button-up shirt with the sleeves unevenly rolled, revealing his forearms, tucked into dark pants. He's standing slightly behind Annie with his arms straight, hands resting near his thighs. Behind them are a flower basket on a small table, a window, and painted artworks hung on the wall behind them, including of a crucifix. There appears to be a light fixture above Annie's head casting a shadow onto the wall. The back has a stamp that reads "Custom Fotos 778 Woodbine Ave. Springfield. O." as well as handwriting in two different inks: one in blue cursive reads "Aunt Annie" and another in black ink reads "1 copy, 1 " [copy] of Lady." There's some yellowing on the corners and ink marks on the front of the image.
