Convention President Coy Privette recounts the history of giving to missions in North Carolina and that 1.1 million members in 3,466 churches give to missions but challenges them to give more to meet a five year goal of doubling the amount. Southeastern Seminaryand the Baptist colleges play a role to prepare evangelists, missionaries and church workers.
