The Liberation of Women: A Christian View
Abstract
Description
Letha R. Casazza, the first woman and current president of the Washington D.C. Baptist Convention, delivers a message on freedom in an age of cultural revolutions, quoting from John 8:31 and drawing many illustrations from Africa. Freedom comes from forgetting oneself and serving others. "Women's Lib" is referenced as the importance of education to girls learning Christianity and the free life western women are able to live, concluding that true liberation is spiritual.
