Description
Lt. MC James F. Toole receives his graduation certificate on March 15, 1952 from the United States School of Aviation Medicine in Pensacola, Florida. Dr. Toole entered the Navy in the 1940s. He was released to inactive duty at the end of World War II and at age 27 entered Cornell Medical School. Upon graduation from Cornell, Dr. Toole was commissioned in the Naval Reserve Medical Corps. He came to Bowman Gray School of Medicine in the 1960s and is a well-known neurologist.
