Description
Four members of the Winston-Salem Teachers College track team that participated in the 1957 Penn Relays. Winston-Salem Teachers College was the first small college and historically black college to win the shuttle hurdle event at the Penn Relays. Left to right: Joseph Middleton, Robert Jackson, Francis Washington and Carl Brown.
