Handwritten entries, drawings and clippings by Joseph Edward Carter during his time held at the Stalag Luft III prisoner of war camp in Sagan, Germany. Pasted-in items on one of the last pages includes ashes from a bombing and the shells of the only egg eaten by Carter.
