Dr. Charles McCreight, far left, is shown here at his retirement party in July 1996 with (L-R) Dr. James Thompson, Professor of Otolaryngology and Dean of the Bowman Gray School of Medicine from 1994-2001 and Mr. George Jones, chief engineer at the school for over 50 years. Before coming to Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Dr. McCreight worked with his family in the funeral home business and was a licensed embalmer.
