Description

Howard Fuller, activist, spoke at Winston-Salem State University in February 1970. From 1963 to 1968, Fuller was one of three hundred volunteers with the North Carolina Fund, set up to address issues of poverty and discrimination. In 1968, he helped found the Malcolm X Liberation University in Durham. Between 1991 and 1995, he was superintendent of Milwaukee public schools.
