| dc.description | Dr. Robert “Moose” Morehead came to Bowman Gray School of Medicine when it opened in 1941 from Wake Forest College in Wake Forest, NC. Dr. Morehead was Director of the Department of Pathology. He was responsible for an extensive program that involved doing work for more than thirty hospitals in the area and many private physicians. He also conducted routine classes in Histology, Pathology and Clinical Pathological Conferences. | en_US |
