Communication to Young People
Abstract
Description
Walker Knight addresses the prospects of communication to young people. Proteus is used to describe youth culture repeatedly changing its identity. The new concept of adolescence has elongated a child's time period of growth and development; this, along with more free time, allows minds to be flooded with TV images of violence. A religious vacuum in the church and an emotional vacuum in society results in disillusionment. The communication of the gospel message hinges on personal interaction and the Holy Spirit.
