Description
Dr. Paul C. Bucy of Tryon (left) and Dr. Emery Miller attend the unveiling of Dr. Eben Alexander, Jr.’s portrait at the Old Town Country Club on June 28, 1985. The doctors were friends of Dr. Alexander. Dr. Bucy of Tryon, NC was a former Director of Neurosurgery at Northwestern University Medical School and a former patient of North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Miller came to Bowman Gray School of Medicine as a fellow of Internal Medicine in 1953 and was named Director of the Outpatient Department in 1955.
