Sermon given at Baptist State Convention of North Carolina Evangelism Conference as part of a series aimed to "glorify Jesus Christ... and come to serve him better." Discusses Jesus' preparation for becoming a public figure, including His baptism, dedication and time spent in the desert of testing by the Devil that offered temptation to the human nature of Jesus. Referenced Biblical texts include the gospels of Luke, Matthew and Mark.
