Pete Daniel, former Curator, National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution, will lead an interdisciplinary discussion about environmental history with students, faculty, and staff of Wake Forest University on February 27, 2014, as part of the History Engagement Series. To facilitate discussion, permission to post chapter 2, "Poisoning," from Daniel's book, "Toxic Drift: Pesticides and Health in the Post-World War II South," has been granted by the publisher, Louisiana State University Press.
