dc.descriptionMiss Helen P. Vos arrived at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in 1963 and was appointed Director of the School of Anesthesia for Nurses from 1964-1977. She was well qualified for this position as she graduated from Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing and also the University of Michigan School of Anesthesia for Nurses. She was a former Director of the School of Anesthesia at Hurley Hospital in Michigan and in 1954 she established a School of Anesthesia at the United Christian Hospital in Lahore, West Pakistan, where she remained for four years.en_US
