Description
The front entrance of the new Bowman Gray School of Medicine can be seen here in the early 1940s. In 1943, the tuition was $150 a trimester or $450 per year. The cost of medical textbooks, dissecting instruments and laboratory gowns averaged approximately $60 per session.
