Wishes of Job

Abstract

Description

From a series, a sermon given by a man regarding the book of Job, specifically the suffering he endures and his wishes for death, in a variety of forms, while he suffers. Job is visited by his friends who stay with him for 7 days without speaking. Job realizes the difference between sympathy and understanding one�s suffering. He argues with them, and finds something worth living for. He then wishes to be left alone. His third wish is to know why God has done this to him.
