Description
Ann Causby Bates was accepted as a student in the School of Cytology at Bowman Gray School of Medicine and the North Carolina Baptist Hospital in February 1963. Her educational training was supplemented by a $200.00 per month stipend for a twelve-month period. Miss Ann Causby Bates graduated in July 1964 and became a registered medical technologist through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists in March 1965.
