Description
AirCare, which is North Carolina Baptist Hospital's "helicopter ambulance", made its first lift-off on May 15, 1986. A Bell Model 222 helicopter is shown here in a press conference at the hospital's new helipad which was then located at the corner of Queen Street and Medical Center Boulevard.
