Dr. Megan Rudock is an alumni and former faculty member of Wake Forest University. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Rudock received her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Georgia in 2002, and went on to complete her doctorate in molecular genetics and genomics at Wake Forest University's School of Medicine in 2008. In her interview, Rudock discusses her academic and professional trajectory, detailing how family members and high school mentors influenced her interest in science, her experience doing research, and how she became heavily involved in teaching a wide age range. She also discusses the process of adapting science curriculum to remote learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
