Description

Dr. Martin George Netsky was one of several Bowman Gray School of Medicine physicians who studied heart disease in the late 1950s. The team of doctors from various departments studied the disease through the effect of diet, exercise, and various drugs in hope of becoming more knowledgeable about its causes, prevention and treatment. Dr. Netsky was chair of the Department of Neurology from 1961-62 as well as section head for the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1959-1960.
