Sam Chason and Matt Gronberg are the founders of Storage Scholars and two Wake Forest graduates. At the time of this interview, Matt was a senior at Wake Forest University majoring in Biovhemistry and Molecular Biology and anticipated graduating in 2021. Sam graduated from Wake Forest in 2020 with a Bacherlor of Science in Venture Development. Chason and Gronberg founded Storage Scholars in during Sam's first year of college, seeking to provide a convenient and reputable storage solution for returning students' belongings at multiple universities across the United States. Unlike many other small businesses who were forced to shut down, Storage Scholars used COVID-19 as an opportunity to expand, develop, and grow. In this interview, Chason and Gronberg discuss how they helped the communities they serve by offering boxes and packing supplies to students who were forced to leave campus due to the pandemic. They also discuss how they believe the upcoming school year will play out and how that will affect their business.
